Is anything sold through this website?
No. There is no shop, no ticket, no payment page and nothing at all sold at a distance. Bookings are made by telephone or email and cost nothing.
Is there any play available online?
None. No application, no account, no browser game, no live stream. Every table described here is a physical table inside 74 George Street.
Are the tokens money?
They are not. Brass tokens score points for one evening, cannot be bought or redeemed, and have no monetary value at any time.
Is this a gambling venue?
No. No wagering is offered or permitted, there are no gaming machines on the premises, and no prize of any value is awarded for a hand of cards.
What each side agrees to
- A booking exists once the house confirms it by telephone or in a written reply; no deposit is taken.
- A held table or a dinner booking waits fifteen minutes past the agreed time, then is released.
- Cancellation is free, by telephone, at any hour we are open, and no reason is required.
- Entry may be refused or ended where the conduct rules are ignored.
